Today is Amanda's 40th birthday! Happy Birthday Amanda! Anyone that knows this vivacious lady knows that she is embracing and celebrating her 40th birthday like crazy! When she got in touch with me to do a 40th birthday session I was NOT surprised! We had so much fun and both of us really wanted to dive in to that cake, too. The air conditioning in the studio felt awesome after being out in the humidity for a few outdoor shots around the studio! Thank you so much Amanda for choosing ME to capture this fun time for you! Kaylee's mom got in touch with me about my new "shorter" senior studio session a few weeks back and even though this session is only 30 minutes, Kaylee ended up with some senior portraits I feel she'll be proud of for many years! And an added bonus...I got some fun images of her sweet little brother as well.

I get asked often what season is my favorite to photograph in.  And it's really hard to answer, because just getting to photograph high school seniors is my favorite and anytime I get to photograph a senior session, that's my favorite. Regardless of the season. 

John's senior session was in February, in the middle of Winter. Thankfully it didn't feel too awful much like Winter.  Some seasons are obviously prettier because of the colors they bring to the landscape around us, but I do my best to find locations that work no matter what. John brought his cool Challenger to his session and downtown Hardy was just the perfect spot. We finished up his session back at my studio and where it was just a bit warmer.
