In this one-day one-on-one workshop, you'll learn (in simple terms) how to use one speed light or one studio strobe to light a portrait. If you don't have a studio, no problem. I'll demonstrate how to use the one-light portrait technique outside as well! We'll cover pretty much everything you need to get started with studio lighting from the light, the stand, triggers, modifiers, etc. Does the technical lingo typically involved with lighting overwhelm you? Don't worry...that won't happen here. We're going to be doing a lot of hands on learning. I don't want you leaving without being more confident in using studio lighting.

TESTIMONIALS
When I was looking to add studio lighting to my work, I chose Clark Sanders for several reasons. First, his work is amazing. I had followed his business online for several years and I loved the beauty and consistency in all of his images both in-studio and outdoors. I was always amazed that his go-to set up was a one-light system. Secondly, I wanted a simple approach to a light-system and knew he was the one to learn from because his entire business is a simple approach to success. During the hands-on workshop, I was amazed at the simplicity to Clark's teaching style to achieve the incredible looks he taught! Not only were his techniques easy to understand and incorporate, he was very patient with each step of the process. I love the ease at which we are now able to incorporate dimensional light to our work using his simple approach! I highly recommend Clark Sanders if you are looking to add studio light to your work and want an easy-to-understand system! Clark is an excellent teacher! We had the pleasure of having Clark Sanders conduct a mini workshop in our studio in the summer of 2016. We were looking to increase our knowledge of off camera flash and searched for photographers who we admired the most. We chose Clark! We loved his style and his unique approach to lighting with one light! He was a joy to work with and very knowledgeable. We loved spending time with him and his wife Karen! I would recommend Clark's workshop to anyone who wants to learn from one of the best in our field. Mike Clark, Clark's Studio, New Castle, PA
